We all love summer, don’t we? The sun, the vacation, the beach. It’s like the perfect time of the year. And what better place to enjoy such a season than in South Beach? There are parties, concerts, festivals, and just an endless number of events you can enjoy to the fullest during June, be it with family, friends, or even by yourself. And this year is no different! Miami Film Month

June 01 – June 30

As you can tell from the name, June is the month during which Miami celebrates both, national and international film festivals and art cinemas. There will be a great number of different events, such as special screenings, contests, and meetings. Taste of the Gables

June 02

Presented by Johnnie Walker Whiskey and Bailey’s Irish Cream, Taste of the Gables will be hosted for the eight time on Thursday June 02 from 6:30 to 8:30 PM in The Westin Colonnade Hotel. This event is for all those foodies out there who are 21 or older, and you will be able to enjoy mouthwatering bites from restaurants such as Bulla, Sushi Samba, Swine, Red Koi and The Local, to name just a few. And, as if food was not enough, you can also enjoy an open bar by the sponsors previously mentioned. And, let’s face it, who wouldn’t love classic cocktails with Bailey’s Irish Cream and Johnnie Walker Whiskey? The price for this event is of $100. You can get tickets in their official website.

Koo Koo Fest

June 02 – June 05

If you are a film aficionado, and it just being the film month is just not enough for you, then you will definitely will want to check out the Koo Koo Fest, a Caribbean Film festival, with aficionados, filmmakers, producers, directors, actors, and everything you can wish for. “The Inverse” Opening Night

June 03

For all of those who love art and just can’t resist a good art exhibit, we have good news for you! At the Institute of Contemporary Night, better known simply as ICA, will be hosting “The Inverse”, the debut American solo museum exhibition for the renowned Brazilian artist Laura Lima, a conceptual artist. Ellie Goulding – Delirium World Tour

So, unless you haven’t been watching TV for the last 6 months, you know who Ellie Goulding is, or at least her biggest hit of the year “Love Me Like You Do”. Goulding is an English pop singer, with a beautiful soprano voice. Delirium World Tour is in support of her third studio album of the same name. This is your opportunity to enjoy her music live! Goulding was identified her internationally as an artist you have to watch in the UK album chart in 2010. The concert will be hosted at AmericanAirlines Arena located in 601 Biscayne Blvd at 7 PM on Friday June the 3rd. Miami Exotic Auto Racing

June 05

During this event, you get the opportunity, as you can probably guess by the name of the event, to drive some of the world’s most exotic cars at homestead Miami Speedway. During June 05 you can drive the dream and pretend to be a professional while driving some of the cars that are usually reserved to the elite few. And kids are also welcome at the Miami Exotic Auto Racing. And don’t worry, you get one-on-one instructions, so you will safe will you enjoy your experience at high speed, since there is no speed restriction when driving any of the cars. World Vapor Expo

June 10 – June 12

The World Vapor Expo is a public event to provide consumers with a first class opportunity to sample and purchase electronic cigarette products that will be celebrated from June 10 all the way to June 12 at the Legendary Miami Beach Convention Center. Hundreds of companies, retailers, distributors, wholesalers, consumers, and many more will be united for this event. Saturday and Sunday are open to the public, so this is your chance to come and find the newest and best products all around the globe! Selena Gomez – Revival Tour

Selena Gomez is an ex-disney star, very well known for her multi-platinum singer career, and she is currently on tour for her new album of the same name, and will be in South Beach Miami on June the 11th at the AmericanAirlines Arena at 7:30 PM. “Revival” has already topped at the Top 40 Radio Charts for three weeks on a row, and has sold over 22 million singles worldwide. Taste of the Caribbean

June 12 – June 14

Calling all foodies, I repeat, calling all foodies! Because we all know that Taste of the Gables is just not enough, we also have Taste of the Caribbean celebrated during June. Taste of the Caribbean is a delicious fusion of Jamaican and Caribbean cuisines that are guaranteed to ignite your culinary passion. So, mark your calendars and join us at the Hyatt Regency, Miami on June 12 and until June 14. Tickets are $50 per person.


Florida Supercon

June 25 – June 28

If you are a fanatic of comic books and just pop culture in general, then Florida Supercon is definitely for you. This is the 10th anniversary of the country’s largest comic convention that lasts for four days. So, if you are in Miami, you definitely cannot pass on this chance. There will be celebrity guests, comic book creators, parties, video games, food, film screening, and more! Single day admission starts at $30 per person.
