Miami is beautiful during fall and this means more fun and entertainment for the whole family. It is a little bit cooler than the summer months and as such, you can go hard on your favorite outdoor activities without harming the body. This November is particularly packed with activities with the NASCAR Championship and Miami Book fair some of the headliners. - Veterans Day Parade – Nov 10
The month is off to a great start with the Veterans Day Parade one of the events to look forward to at the start of the month. Our military men and women have served the country diligently and this parade recognizes their contributions. The parade is hosted by the City of Miami Beach on Ocean Drive (5th to 14th Street) on November 10. A picnic will be held at Lummus Park when the parade ends with the military men and women showcasing some of their acts. The event is free and open to all.
- Seed Food & Wine Week (Nov 7 – 10)
Food lovers have a reason to smile this month with the Seed Food & Wine festival slotted for 7 – 10 November. This festival, however, is dedicated to healthy living with chefs and exhibitors showcasing healthy plant-based delicacies. Healthy living enthusiasts will converge at the event and this is your best chance to learn about healthy food and healthy living. Wine and beer exhibitors will also be at the event for the ultimate party scene. Tickets are available at different levels with day passes, individual brunches, tastings, and farm to dinner passes some of the available options.
- NASCAR Ford Championship (Nov 15 – 17)
The last race of the NASCAR season takes place from 15th to 17th November at the Homestead-Miami Speedway. The race will be broadcasted live on TV but motorsports enthusiasts can show up and attend the race in person. The series champion will be announced at the event and this is another reason why you need to find the time to attend this event. Ordinary grandstand tickets go for $55.
- Miami International Book Fair (Nov 17 – 24)
This is one of the country’s top literature festival and more than 450 authors are expected to attend the event with their works. The event has been planned as a walkable street fair with publishers, illustrators, authors, and antiquarians onsite. The Miami Book Fair was founded in 1984 and every year celebrity authors show up to celebrate old and new literature as well as to enjoy Miami’s November outdoor weather.
- Celebrity Beach Soccer Match (Nov 23)
Conclude the month in style by attending the Celebrity Beach Soccer Match that will be held at North Beach Bandshell. The event will take place on November 23rd with comedians, models, and athletes expected to grace the event to raise funds for the Best Buddies initiative.
