There are pool parties to look forward to, craft beer bars to cool you off and a lot of family-friendly festivals for the entire family. Here are some of the great activities that Miami has lined up for you in June.

  1. Ariana Grande Live

The month starts on a high note thanks to Ariana’s scheduled performance in Miami. As part of her Sweetener World Tour, Ariana Grande will be performing live at the American Airlines Arena on June 1. Tickets start from $30.95 and this is your chance to see one of the world’s best performing artists on stage.

  1. Venezuela National Football Team Vs Ecuador National Football Team

Some of the best footballing talent will converge at the Hard Rock Stadium for an international football match. Come see your favorite football starts in action in this match that promises a lot of goals and on-field entertainment. The match takes place on 1st June.

Mangos and tropical fruits are a big deal in Miami and as such, they have their own festival. The Mango and Tropical Fruit Festival that takes place on 13 – 14 June provides you with a chance to sample different mango varieties from local backyard farms and those from other parts of the world.

  1. American Black Film Festival

Catch a glimpse of the bright future of black film at the American Black Film Festival. Industry leaders converge at the festival to create awareness about black cinema and discuss ways to reach a bigger audience. The festival will take place in various theatres in South Beach from June 12 – 16 and it will feature appearances by A-list performers such as Damson Idris and La La Anthony. A pass for the festival goes for $120.

  1. Broadway’s Come From Away Musical

Come From Away, a musical that tells the story of a small town that birthed the world will be on show at the Adrienne Arsht Center. Based on a true story, the musical brings to light the story of 7000 passengers who were stranded in a small town by the name Newfoundland. There was hostility and a culture clash but eventually the uneasiness and mistrust turned into gratitude and enduring friendships. The musical runs from June 18 – 23.

  1. Taste of the Caribbean

Get to experience the Caribbean culture and their amazing cuisine at the Taste of the Caribbean annual food festival. The festival will take place at the Hyatt Regency Miami and it will feature Caribbean inspired meals and experienced chefs who will prepare tropical dishes. Tickets go for $55 per person.

  1. Whiteout Miami Weekend

The annual All-White Yacht Party takes place on 14th June across different venues in Miami. The party will be hosted on an amazing superyacht with 3 music levels, multiple bars, and a VIP lounge.
